Apply for Your Residency

At La Maison Baldwin, we offer a sanctuary where the voices of writers are nurtured and celebrated.

 

Inspired by James Baldwin's legacy, our residencies across France and the USA provide the perfect setting for both emerging and established writers to explore their creativity and connect with other like-minded individuals.

Please be sure to read about each residency location as the residency time frames vary throughout the year. We are also still working to finalize parterships in Istanbul, Paris, and Harlem. If those regions are of interest to you, we will post that information as it becomes available.

​

La Maison Baldwin will cover the travel expenses for each resident and provide a $2000 stipend to cover additional expenses.
