Karey Wallace has more than two decades of HR experience across industries that include healthcare, social services, financial technology, and unionized construction. Karey has headed human resources at Lantern Community Service, a non-profit that provides supportive housing and shelter services. In this capacity, she spearheaded the optimization of HR operations through recruiting, HRIS technology, consultation, performance development, employee relations and culture institutionalization aligned with values and vision.

Wallace is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and earned her Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential in December 2016. She graduated from Pace University in New York with a degree in human resources management. She was born in Jamaica, and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and children.
